Texas a Roaring Success: Whincup

The Austin 400 in Texas has received a unanimous vote of approval from more than 5000 Australian fans, a bigger contingent of locals, and drivers.

Jamie Whincup has won the last race at Austin, taking three of the four races at the new circuit this weekend. Race 16 was Whincup's 70th career win.

The fourth and final race at the Austin 400 is set to start with the cars on the grid after a short 40-minute break. Jamie Whincup starts from pole.

Fabian Coulthard has won Race 15 at the Austin 400, climbing over the Red Bull racers that held the first two positions on the grid.
