V8 Supercar Operations Manual

The V8 Supercar Category Rules have been extensively reviewed as a consequence of the arrangements between V8 Supercars Australia and CAMS, which came into effect in 2001, and ongoing development of regulations and procedures. As a result, there are a number of changes from previous versions of the V8 Supercar Rules contained in this document.

2010 sees V8 Supercars continue as a FIA approved International Series and, as such, V8 Supercars Australia is required to comply with the rules and regulations set out by the FIA for Series of this nature. Some of the changes in the 2010 edition of the Operations Manual have been made to deliver consistency with international motor sport practice.

The Operations Manual format has five Divisions each covering a separate element of V8 Supercar operations.
