DAVID Wall has been confirmed alongside Jason Bright and Fabian Coulthard at Brad Jones Racing's three-car squad in 2012.

After co-driving with BJR for the past two years, Wall is now set to make his full-time V8 Supercar debut in the #21 Wilson Security Commodore (pictured) with additional support from long-time sponsors Payce, Paynter Dixon and Astrontech.

“I can’t believe this opportunity has actually come together,” said Wall, who is based in Sydney.

“I have worked with BJR for the past two years in the enduros so I know how committed they are.

“The whole crew and engineering team is a great group to work with and I am looking forward to putting everything I have into this opportunity. I think it is awesome to be joining Brighty, Fabian and the BJR crew.”

Wall, who was rookie of the year in the 2006 Carrera Cup Championship, won back-to-back Australian GT Championships in 2009 and 2010.

“2012 will see Wilson Security both further expand and consolidate its presence within V8 Supercars,” said Wilson Security CEO John McMellan, who also announced additional major branding presence on both BJR cars this year.

“We’ve always focused on young, developing drivers like Wall who are traditionally with non-factory teams because, in business, we know you need a level of quality ‘personal’ service where the customer deals with the decision maker.

“When we bring our customers and staff to the track it’s good to see a similar ethos from the teams and drivers that we are associated with, as it reinforces a consistent commercial message.”

Wall will have his first opportunity to drive his new car on February 11 at Sandown, during the official test day.

Former BJR driver Karl Reindler has yet to confirm his 2012 plans but is expected to line up with Kelly Racing.
