Jim Beam Racing has unveiled its new livery, which will debut at this weekend’s L&H 500 and remain on its Falcons for the rest of the season.

The new livery for current Championship leader James Courtney’s #18 car and Steven Johnson’s #17 car reflects Jim Beam’s new Romancing The Liquid brand deisgn.

Rather than appearing as if it has been stamped on the side of the car, the Jim Beam Seal now looks as if it has been dropped into the golden liquid and the contemporary design makes quite a splash.

Courtney and Johnson unveiled the new livery today on www.jimbeamracing.com.au, which now also has a micro-site to celebrate 30 years of the team formerly known as Dick Johnson Racing.

Jim Beam Racing co-owner, Dick Johnson described Jim Beam as a “true partner”.

“And we’ve been working hard during the mid-season break to bring Jim Beam’s new design to the cars in a way we know our fans will be proud of,” he said.

“We’ve had a great start to the Series, and we’re looking forward to getting back out there with a refreshed team, new livery, and maintaining our position (second) on the V8 Supercars Championship Series Team Leadership Board.”

Jim Beam Brand Director, Ray Noble, is looking forward to seeing the new cars on the track.

He said the introduction of Jim Beam’s new look to ‘The Team’ is another example of the growing partnership and integration between Australia’s number one spirit brand and one of the nation’s best-loved sporting teams.

“Our partnership with Jim Beam Racing provides a great platform for us to introduce the legions of V8 fans in Australia to Jim Beam’s new look in a way they can be proud of,” Noble said.

“The new livery brings the brand to life while reinforcing the heritage and authenticity of the brand in a contemporary way.

“The new livery is a refreshing change to create excitement within The Team and amongst fans as we enter the second half of the Series.”
