Out frontno one was catching Down until lap 7 when Down would drop out from the race andDNF but to make this worse his team mate McLeod would also drop out aswell andretire from the race too, for Down this would all but finish his chances atsecuring his sixth V8 Supercar title but with two weeks to go anything canhappen. On lap 8 into turn three Marlon McMullen put a wheel off and ended hisrace too as he received heavy damage to his Rear End Racing Falcon. A few lapslater Mark Anderson would also put his XSG Motorsports Falcon into the fenceafter getting wheel spin out of moss. Scott Fountain was the biggest mover inthe field and at the half way mark Fountain had already moved up 6 positions.

On theend of lap 16 Hamstead would try to make a move on Ruggier into the finalcorner, but when Hamstead tried to dive by the time he realized he wasn’t farenough up and saw Ruggier turn across their wasn’t enough time to avoid tappingthe rear of Ruggier car and Ruggier spun it around dropping back to seventh.

Hamsteadwould hold off his team mate Riches to take a 1-2 on return after the break,Riches had a strong run all night long and was able to hold off a hard chargingShaun Kelly who rounded out the podium in third position. Emerson would comehome in third place in the final TTL Falcon with Mitchell Abrahall rounding outthe top five. Christopher Osborne would hold off Justin Ruggier to comehome in sixth place while Ruggier would have to settle for seventh place.
