HOLDEN Racing Team V8 Supercar star Garth Tander and his wife Leanne have put their creative skills to good use for charity in support of the drive against hunger in Australia.
Australia’s fastest couple, the Tanders have designed and painted a plate to support Foodbank organisation, which provides 88,000 meals a day to Australians in hardship.
Garth and Leanne’s design is a V8 Supercar wheel and reflects their passion for their professional motor racing careers. It is 27cm in diameter, has been clear glossed and fired, and is dishwater proof.
The racing wheel plate is now being auctioned online, along with designs by other celebrities such as artist Ken Done, Olympic cycling gold medalist Anna Meares, Wallabies captain James Horwill, TV celebrity Carrie Bickmore, The Wiggles and fashion designer Charlie Brown.
All proceeds from the sale go to funding Foodbank’s charity work, so please bid and support the Tanders in helping Foodbank feed Australians in need.
